Sales Staff -
We are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic who can join our team assisting customers with their fabric and craft purchases. We are looking to fill this position immediately. Applicants should have some experience with general sewing, quilting, knitting/crochet and other crafts. Experience using computers for check out and inventory management is recommended.

Job Description
A & E Fabrics employs a team of individuals who have experience in a variety of sewing and crafts. Our staff aids customers in choosing supplies and calculating quantities needed based on patterns or project information. Being a flexible member of our cohesive team is critical in the day-to-day operations of the store. Duties are shared by all and will be completed while also assisting customers in their selection of supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Education Minimum: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Experience Preferred:
o 1-3 years experience with general sewing, quilting, embroidery and/or other hand crafts.
o 1- 3 years experience in a customer service environment including use of registers and scanners for check out and measuring and cutting fabric and notions.
• Hours: Expected work hours will be between 32 – 40 hours per week. Ability to work all hours without restrictions is preferred. Store hours are currently 10 – 5 pm Mon – Sat. subject to change.

• Reliable transportation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Stand during an entire shift (other than normal break time).
• Continuously walk around all areas of the store throughout shift.
• Read written instructions, reports, and other information on paper and computer screens.
• Orally communicate with customers and other store staff on consistent basis throughout their shift.
• Input data on computer keyboard
• Lift, place, and arrange items on shelves and racks.
• Bend down and reach above head.
• Climb and descend ladder.
