No More Wonky Borders!!
LISTEN LADIES! Wanda wants EVERYONE to have quilts that lie flat and square. She wants everyone to be able to apply skinny and wide borders with equal success. This class will help if you've ever received a judge's critique that says "straight lines should be straight". It will also help your long-arm quilter to complete your quilt without puckers or tucks! In this case, Wanda teaches this class and expects anyone who is using her quilting services to take it at least once so she does not have to give you back a quilt with tucks or pleats!
You cannot register for this class online through the website. You must register at the store and pay for the class by cash or check (made out to Wanda Fountaine). When you register, you will be handed a sheet of paper with the requirements you need for the class - which is a duplicate of the list in this class description.

| Requirements: | Bring to class with you: Sewing machine in good working order with power cord and foot pedal; neutral thread (gray or white) and extra wound bobbin; standard notions (scissors, nippers, pins clips, flexible tape measure, seam ripper, water soluble marking pen or chalk, pencil); rotary cutter and 6 x12inch ruler. Fabric Requirements: 12 x 18 inch piece of fabric; 1/4 yard inner border; 1/3 yard outer border. |

| Instructor Bio: | Wanda has been sewing since the age of 10 and began quilting in 1984. When she realized that hand-quilting was not going to get all her projects finished, she invested in a longarm and started quilting for others as well. She has worked as a teacher/quilter at the A&E since 2014. With all her experience, she knows the things that ALL longarmers appreciate, and can make you the best client ever.
