Paper Pieced Log Cabin

Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) allows you more accuracy in piecing and helps ensure you have perfect points.  FPP is great if you are looking for something quick, want perfect points or you just don't piece very accurately.  Try this method and you will be thrilled with the results.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Basic sewing skills and use of personal machine.
Materials Included: none
Requirements: Bring to class - sewing machine, thread, rotary cutter & ruler, sewing notions. Materials needed - assorted light, medium and dark 2 1/2in fabric strips; 12 1/2in paper foundation paper tablet; glue stick; flat head pins.
Instructor: Wanda Fountaine
Instructor Bio: Wanda has been sewing since the age of 10 and began quilting in 1984. When she realized that hand-quilting was not going to get all her projects finished, she invested in a longarm and started quilting for others as well. She has worked as a teacher/quilter at the A&E since 2014. With all her experience, she knows the things that ALL longarmers appreciate, and can make you the best client ever. Come learn how to piece your backings to help your quilts lay flat.
