Requirements: Sewing Machine - Clean and in working-order with power cord and foot pedal. A new needle is recommended - if you have an embroidery or microtex needle size 70/10, put it on your machine. It must have a throat plate that allows wide stitches and a minimum of a zig-zag option. Sewing tools typically at hand - scissors, pins, seam ripper, etc. (1) 10.5 inch background fabric (8) 3 x 3 inch squares of feature fabric 1 for hearts (1) 3 x 3 inch square of fabric 2 for center circle (1) 3 x 3 inch square of lightweight or sheer fusible interfacing (1) 3 x 18 inch piece of steam a seam 2 lite (1) 10.5 inch piece of wash away or tear away stabilizer pencil water soluble marking pen 50 weight thread to match feature fabric Elmer's washable glue stick or comparable (Fons and Porter/Uhu) small sharp scissors are preferred
