Learn the "Flip and Fuse" appliqué technique for making finished edge appliqué blocks. No need for sticky fusible web or fancy stitches on your machine, a straight stitch will finish the edges of your appliqué.

Skill Details: Knowledge about use of a sewing machine is the prerequisite level of skill.

Requirements: Fabrics: (17) 5 inch squares of green fabric (charm pack?) (17) 5" squares of fusible interfacing (Pellon 911FF is recommended) 1/4 yard background fabric 1 yard sashing/border/backing fabric 26 inch x 26 inch piece of batting 1/4 yard binding fabric 12 inch x 12 inch template plastic to copy pieces for future Sewing needs on Class Day: sewing machine/cord/foot pedal thread to match fabric blue water soluble marking pen pencil routine sewing supplies (seam ripper, pins, thread to match fabric, scissors

Instructor Bio: Cena made her first quilt in 1977 and has made quilts continuously since then. She also has 20 years of teaching experience, so the combination will overcome your fears and hesitation.
No pattern required, Cena will provide the pattern.
