Flip and Fuse Table Topper
In this class, Cena will teach the technique for using interfacing to create a finished-edge appliqué quilt which will make people wonder how in the world you did that! It also includes a lesson in adding mitered borders and facing scalloped edges on a quilt.

Requirements: | To make the table topper: Fabric 1 - (2) 8 x 8 inch squares (I used light brown) Fabric 2 - (2) 8 x 8 inch squares (I used dark brown) Fabric 3 - (2) 5 inch x WOF strips (my striped fabric) Interfacing (Pellon 911FF recommended) (2) 4.5 x 20 inch strips Border fabric - (2) 4 inch x WOF strips Backing - (1) 24 x 24 inch fabric Batting - (1) 24 x 24 inch batting Facing - (1) 20 x 20 inch fabric For Sewing: Functional sewing machine with power cord and foot pedal * A walking foot will make the quilting MUCH easier! Thread to match or contrast with chosen fabrics Rotary cutter, scissors, pins/clips, seam ripper, a small squaring up ruler (I recommend the Tucker Trimmer 1 for 1/2 inch and whole inch HST), a blue wash-away marker or chalk for darker fabrics |
