| Instructor: | Sandy Smith-Moore |
| Instructor Bio: | Sandy has been sewing clothes since age 10 (50+ years) and quilting since age 20 (40+ years). At some point, she realized she could combine the two techniques! Her first quilted sewing project was an underskirt for a historical dress; but she specializes in jackets which are snapped up by family members as quickly as they are made. She is looking forward to guiding you in this process and knows how to help you make sure the jacket will fit you correctly. She will discuss your fabric selection options and the battings you might prefer; and in the last class she will discuss the use of orphan blocks, embroidery/quilting designs and foundation pieced blocks to add pizazz to the basics. |
