The Rockets n’ Robots ensemble includes two quilts and one pillowcase. A twin bed quilt is 50 “ x 78”, and the wallhanging/sofa quilt is 66” x 53”. The pillowcase finished size fits a standard pillowcase. Rockets n’ Robots was inspired by the retro metal robots and rocketships that my husband played with as a young boy. This quilt is whimsical yet desirable for boys of any age. Easy raw-edge fusible machine appliqué makes the quilt quick and easy. I always begin with a focus fabric, which I use to choose the additional fabrics for the quilt. The black and white canvas of the quilt lends itself to using any color variety or intensity. Have fun choosing fabrics for this quilt and making a quilt worthy to be an instant heirloom.
